- edit specifications
- add photos
- add new pages
- sticky topics / posts
- lock topics
- better-integrated profiles
- make upload images on forum thru MyFiles easier
I really want to see how well BBCode works and how intuitive it is for people to use correctly on the forums before I think of allowing it for page editing.

I also added/changed some stuff on the spitfire, Bf-109, and the Me262 in case you haven't noticed already..........
So do you have an idea when you are going to implement your above plan?

the forum folder icons ... i changed them to hopefully look more professional. try clearing out your cache if they're not different on yours. i'm working on the achievements editing now, so that should be ready in the next day or so. i also have a plan for specs editing, but before i update your changes to those aircraft i (might) have to redesign how they're stored in the database. hopefully specs editing will be ready this upcoming week.

Message Number 27Last Updated: 25 May 2008, 4:40:38 PM Date Posted: 25 May 2008, 4:39:42 PM minor change of plans ... redesigning all of the old pages to look like the new homepage is taking a little longer than I thought it would. everything might have to be pushed back a day until I finish up the rest of the pages (I have about 15 or so left to convert). also, I don't think I'm going to allow direct editing of the static, non-aircraft pages (eg. history of aviation, about us, etc) anymore. GAC Times will probably be redesigned to be automated with an RSS/Atom feed, and the Aviation Tests will be redesigned when I implement member-created tests.

I could create an interface to let you make aircraft pages but there would be no good way to link it to the website that I can think of. The leftbar and other links are all hard-coded in and so there would be no way to get to the new pages. Also, you would only be able to write backgrounds and features for each aircraft until I get a system set up to take specs, achievements, and pictures in.
