whoever said we have the worst military must be on some heavy stuff cause the only real threats would come from russia and china but neither of which wanna fight so in essence, whoever attacks us is gonna get their @$$ kicked!

If North Korea took us on, it would be a turkey shoot. The most modern fighter they have is the Mig-21 i think. Anything we have could take care of them in a new york minute.

Just wondering if anyone heard about the talks between NK, the nine countries surrounding it and the US. NK said they would decommission their nuke program if the US would leave. What do you think about this?

i never said u guys have the worst airforce i know u got one of if not the best in the world and yeh of course u could take down our airforce, the US airforce is the dominant airforce on the world at this point, and complemented by our and britains airforce it is unstoppable

Just so you know, I have spoken with some Australian Air Force guys and they have told me that they can barely defend them selves. They lose probably about a 2 squadrons of aircraft a year. Mainly because their pilots are young and stupid. Their officer program is so messed up that experienced officers set behind a desk and leave the flying up to younger more inexperienced officers. The one guy I talked to said that on one occasion, there was a very young pilot flying a single seated old f-18 hornet and the guy fell asleep or passed out while flying. even through repeated radio hails where another aircraft was flying wingman yelling at him and he still didn't wake up. The other aircraft had to return to base because of fuel. The aircraft continued flifht until it ran out of fuel and disappeared forever. They never found the aircraft. It is possible that it landed in the ocean but who knows. The guy I talked to also said that most of the crashes that they have are never recovered because of australia immense landmass. I have never heard of a pilot crashing because of stuff like that.

I dont agree with a few points on that chart number rating thing because you have America and Russia with some of the highest pilot ratings. They would not necessarily be better because the smaller countries with smaller airforces can afford to pick the very cleverest of their want to be pilots. Britain also has similar training etc...
I would still rank USA top but some of the other orders I would change.

Russia-lower down
maybe include quality of aircraft-it makes a big difference
