Message Number 31Date Posted: 16 June 2005, 4:50:21 AM The F-15 has been used for just about all aerospace uses, dogfighting, bombing, close air support, recon, The only accidents to be reported on f-15s were either maintenance issues or pilot error. No enemy aircraft has ever shot down an f-15. No the F-111 is probably better than the f-15 considering it has a faster climb rate. But it was made to be a bomber. James Porter

Message Number 35Date Posted: 20 July 2008, 2:21:04 PM probably some f-16s and replacements for the c-130 and p-3s. hey New Zealand can probably afford f-16 block 60s and use those as air defense fighters. they don't need to build a air force to go off to war, just a small air defence force to protect against attack. but id say block 60 f-16s are the best answer for New Zealand If you are going thru hell, keep going. -Winston Churchill

Message Number 36Date Posted: 26 July 2008, 1:57:52 AM I looked on the NZ Air force website and they only have about 5-6 types of aircraft in action! And about half of them are helicopters, so I think NZ should get a combo of about 30 aircraft just as a defense force. Say, a few F/A 22's and some F15's oh' and a couple of B52's just in case they need to bomb enemy hide outs and those things can fly around the world nonstop so range isn't a problem. And maybe a few Apache's just for good measure...

Message Number 37Date Posted: 01 August 2008, 2:30:17 PM oh yah like america will give 'em f-22s.im sorry but the us isnt going to just give away a stealth aircraft. and forget about giving away b-52s. i don't think we've given even one to another nation. And F-15. those only got to our CLOSEST allies and only if they need it bad. If you are going thru hell, keep going. -Winston Churchill
