New Zealand will get the mcheaper becuase of the ANZUS agreement. There is a chapter type type thing in there that the US must sell any equipment to New Zealand at no profit.

New Zeland can afford most aircraft mentioned its just how many in 1999 to get f16 c/ds fully payed for was $1.2 billion. So New Zealand could quite easily get its hands on modern Russian fighters just the f22 will be out of reach. Also we need a prime minister who isn't selfish and ignorant.

Message Number 29Date Posted: 14 June 2005, 7:43:17 AM I don't see a problem with them buying f-15s from Lockeed martin. I mean Every other country and their brother is buying them. Japan has F-15J's, Korea has new f-15 K strike eagles, and Saudi Arabia is also getting their own version of the strike eagle, The F-15 S-model. The f-15 is a good aircraft. It has yet to be shot down out of the sky. The real question is whether or not their pilots can handle it.
