Through out the years we have acquired all kinds of Soviet aircraft, however we do not actually use any Soviet aircraft for combat operations of any kind, actually I take that back, there is a spec ops team in the USAF that has an Mi-8 along with some other ones that they don't talk about, as for jets we don't use any for combat ops, we just acquire them so we can design a plane that can out proform and then beat the specific aircraft.

alk about the mig 29 is true but theus has always had a sqaudron of migs right back since the mig 15 for evaluation. Nasa also used migs for testing to help with futureand how to combat russian aircraft.

As I said, the US has a fair amount of acquired Russian and forgien military aircraft, but not in large quantities and only for testing. We do not have squadrons of Migs or anything like that though.

Falcon, yes, the Russians have copied or taken design aspects from many of our aircraft. However, they have not nessicarily directly copied that many of our aircraft.

2 Things, if you know that, then why did you not say that instead of "like 15"?

And, can you try using the proper words at least, if you want to be understood thats the best way to do it.

i said "like 15" because i waqsn't sure how many designs were "borrowed" by the russians.

The point was, that what you said didn't correlate to what you say you know. Just choose your words more carefully or don't argue when someone points out a fallacy in your statement.
