Message Number 12Date Posted: 11 September 2008, 9:46:45 PM Obviously, you don't know the capabilities of the US Military..........a missile launch from North Korea would be detected minutes after the launch if not sooner, due to the fact that we are watching them.
Then you have in between 20-40 minutes until the missile arrives, depending on the power, weight, ect. As soon as the missile launch was detected the President would be on Marine 1 headed to Langley where he would board Air Force 1 and be airborne minutes later..........the President is gone before the missile gets shot down by our missile defence system.
In the end North Korea doesn't have the capability to deliver a nuclear weapon to the US.

Message Number 14Date Posted: 12 September 2008, 11:17:54 AM When I said size I was refering too, the size of the motor and therefore the thrust capabilites of the missile. Should've been more clear, my apologies.

Message Number 16Date Posted: 13 September 2008, 10:48:54 AM As I said before, it would take a MAD(Mutually Assured Destruction) situation to take us out. At that point, there would be so much radiation fall out in the world I wouldn't want to be one of the people left alive.
