well..............it might be possible.i doubt i though.their population is only 22 million and they have an extremely limited amount of technology, even china isn't helping them out anymore.If i were to rank them in size and efficiency of their army, i would probabluy have to give them a 34.yea that sounds about right

actually the north korean missiles can only reach the west coast--if even that far. all of their aircraft--at least the ones that can still fly--are short range tactical types. yeah they could hit japan but there is a big problem with that idea. japan has a very well equipped defense force. an f16 will blow the hell out a mig21 before the mig even knows its up there. that and flying over an american aircraft carrier is dangerous enough as it is.

As i know Korea has some mig-29, which will beat f-16, but if there was war they wouldn't meet migs in the sky. It need in maintance and good pilots to be dangerous. You can remember 1991. Iraquis had mig-29, but hadn't pilots, good enough to make the plane dangerous for the USA. Also you can remember 2002 Ukraine airshow crash. That's result of lack of money for repairment, pilot training etc. Our guys, in Suhoi, said that Ukraine has never bought any spares since 1991. So, as you know any plane need to be repaire after a while. For example good old me-262 needed to be repaired(engines mainly)after about 25 hours of flight. Modern planes ofcourse not so frequently, but anyway. Ukraine thought diffiren, and paid a big cost, 120 deaths. Other countries will get defeat.

Hi, The Korean Army is not big enought to take on the U.S. and completely destroy the U.S. but it could have a semi- victory if a Korean War like battle occured. The Mig-29 can only beat a F-16 if flown by a very gifted pilot. The Mig-31 is better and is about the equivelent of F-16 and F-14 Tomcat and is much better than Tornado. korea could possilby beat Britain if no U.S. or france help. Email me!

No, mig-31 isn't on par with f-16 as mig-29 is. Mig-31 is interceptor guided from ground operator. I doubt its maneuverability And mig-29... well, there was mock air combat between american pilots and russian pilots in 1992 over the USA. And F-15 was beaten, in both situations, when it jumped su-27 and was jumped by su-27. And after this 'combat' they flew on their opponents planes. So, our pilots noticed, that f-15 ofcourse good plane, but its maneuverability is lower than mig-29 one, and close to mig-23's. And cockpit is terrible- black and dark, and seat is very tought.
And what's interesting, american pilots in private chat with russian pilots noticed that su-27 is better, but for journalists they said that planes are 'almost equal'.

Mig-29 is very maneuverable. I saw one on air show. No chance for f-14(if its without phoenix missiles)and extremely hard bird for any plane in the world.

There is no way in hell that the USA would ever fall to a country, esapesally to North Korea. The attitude of the hole USA is that they would dye for freedom. And me been one of them people.
