I see all the time people only compare our aircraft to that of Russia's. Cold War's over people give it up! Russia is mostly building these aircraft for defense purposes, not to go blowin up the world. If you have not noticed, Russia has stayed out of every major conflict since the cold war so give it a rest. All the superpowers are doing is building up their defenses. The only real enemies are those terrorist SOB's. Everyone is really doing their best to get along.

I agree with you man. I mean I understand when your trying to figure out your favourite aircraft you compare all aircraft ever made. But just because Russia's aircraft are better than ours doesn't mean that Russia is going to come kick our asses just because they can.

Nope. We both would be FUBAR! First there's the push through the Fulda Gap in Germany. They Have way more tanks than us. then comes the issue of nukes....

First off Germany would not have anything to do with it. and it woud be one hell of a war to watch

We have bases in germany and they would be the most seceptible to attack.

Let's see, Fighters in germany, Italy, UK, Japan, and Korea. Bombers in Italy and guam. I think that Russia would be pretty screwed. What do you think. You're looking at about 7 or 8 F-15 C and D models squadrons, 4 or 5 e model squadrons. F-16's, b-1's and Buffs. and of course the navy has boats everywhere around the world as well as bases. But then again it all comes down to who can push the button the fastest

that is tru. i really don't think it will come to that tho.

if all were on bout is an air war here than there is no way to tell which country would win because you cant take into consideration the threats of AAA and SAM missile batteries as well as MANPADS and small arms fire so dont even try to compare it fellas.
