the eurofighter could beat the f/a-22 in my opinion, it is cheaper, has a bigger weapons load and it has equal or better manuevrability, what are your thoughts

I Pick the F-23 over both. It should've been picked but politics get thrown into the whole mix and that just throws everything out of whack.

if the f-23 was a better airplane it would have been chosen, besides, it looks like crap

The F-22 has stealth which the eurofighter doesn't it has thrust vectoring which makes it super manuverable in a dog fight It also has a super cruise of Mach 1.58 and is taking F-15's on 2 to 14. I think that the F-22 is the better of the 2 but it is in a completely different class. The F-22 is a heavy fighter like the Su- 27,35,37, F-15, and Mig 1.44. The Eurofighter is a medium fighter like the F/A-18 and Rafale. I think a closer competion would be between the Eurofighter and the Rafale

eurofighter has zero problems at the moment, f-22 is having problems with fly by wire and landing gear
a raptor was lost recently but eurofighter hasnt taken a hit yet, eurofighter can dogfight with an f-22 and it carries as much if not more armament than the f-22 and its faster as well

Think about this as well. The eurofighter was designed to be just a fighter. the FA-22 is not just a fighter, it is also an attack aircraft. much like the FA-18. And i know for a fact that the engines in the 22 can put out alot more than any information you can get. Do you really think that you can get all the information about anything? Especially when it about the government. The US gov't doesn't even let it's own personnel know information that you don't know. What makes you think that you know everything about the FA-22?

Actually, I am not sure how many have been lost, but one was lost last year around December at Nellis AFB, Nevada. Look it up and you will find out how little you know.
