Just because this site say's it doesn't mean it is true. Do you really think that the US would really let everyone know how fast that jet can fly. For EX, the motors on the F-22 put out 35000+ lbs of thrust a piece and that's at max. At mil it can do mach 1.8. I 've seen for myself. don't tell me it's slower. I don't care what information you have. I have seen this aircraft in action as well as seen videos of what the euro fighter can do and the F-22 has it beat by miles.

With that design and that stealth characteristics it won't do more than 1.8 maby 2.0. Look at any stealth U.S maked, it slow because of that material that covers it. With a bigger speeds Raptor is going to get fried.

- It has more thrust because it heavier : empty more than 13.608 kg (30,000 lb); Max Take-Off Weight 26.308 kg (58,000 lb) and Eurofighter :empty 10.995 kg (24,239 lb); Max Take-Off Weight 23000 kg (50,700 lb).

if the f/a-22 wants to b stealthy then it has to be below mach1 or its stealth goes out the window with that sonic boom
