The F/A22 is a lot better because the F/A22 has stealth and the X35 was derived from the F/A22 which is screaming 'the raptor is better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

dont the F-35 have stealth, but i like the F/A-22 more but i dont know since they have not went air to air combat....

It depends what you want. I mean, the F-22 is a more superior plane, but the F-35 costs like half as much, which is a bonus. So many dudes on the forums seem to think that the F-22 sucks, but hey if its such a flawed plane, why won't the U.S. let any other countries buy it? It's obvious that it such a hot plane that they don't want nobody else to have it. I'm from Australia, were getting the F-35 in like 2012 or something to replace our Hornets, so we won't ever get the F-22. You yanks are lucky!!!!!!!

In my opinion, The reason the US won't sell the Raptor aka the Craptor is because it is a shitty plane

well, i love the raptor first time i heard of her was like 96or 97 i think a few years later few in love with her...the Raptor is great,but if it was he F-35c the raptor would but its the X-35 i still the Raptor would win, but it would take a bit the X-35 lands on a dime the raptor lands on a foolball field by sizes im talkin about too lol..
but i do think Raptor would win all the way baby...

Well consider this, the F35 lightning 2 (which u aviation buffs know that it's been named the lightning 2!!) has 3 variants: the CTOL (carier take off and landing), the STOVL(short take off, vertical landing), and the STOL(short take off and landing) and the raptor doesn't have this!

I prefer the F-22 Raptor. Because it's more maneuvarable, faster, has thrust vectoring, and it is more expansive.

I Looked at commodore_vic's Post and thought that what he/she said was basically Dead on- Although the Raptor is Fast, And in my Opinion beats the F-117 by a mile, The Lightning 2 is In Many ways better. (Stovl, Stol, Cotl...) Plus i like its Engine More.

In no way is the f 35 a better plane. That is like saying that the harrier with its vtol is better than the f 15. It just isnt true. We have so many bases around the world that we no longer have the need for a vtol aircraft. This is why you dont see any other country dumping money into a new vtol aircraft.

yeah, there is no way that the f-35 could outfly the 22. there is a reason that the USAF chose the 22 over the 35. they dont just pick planes cuz they look cool, duh
