Subject: MiG 1.44 vs Su-47(S-37)

Hey I was discussing this with my friends the other night about which Aircraft they though was better the MiG 1.44 or the Su-47 Berkut. I say the MiG 1.44 wins what do you think.

the MiG is a multirole fighter whereas the berkut or 'royal eagle' is a dedicated fighter so really you cant compare them and if you were to then you would have to pick a topic on which to compare them. i reckon the berkut is a better fighter but the MFI can do more things so it really comes down to pilot skill

I wanted to know who would win in a dogfight. I believe that the MiG 1.44 MFI would win because it has 3d thrust-vectoring which the Su-47 was never fitted with and the Sukhoi manufactures never had any intentions of putting it on the engines. I guess it would all come down to what the productions models look like because they are both just prototypes for the Russian 5th generation fighter. I belive they are both very capable aircraft though.

anyone ever heard of the s-32? its an su-47 with 2 dimensional thrust vectoring
