That isn't a flight sim....

There are few extremely accurate military flight simulators....but there are a lot of arcade style games that deal with military aircraft...a few that I have are:

F-22 Lighting 3 (Novalogic, PC)
F-16 MRF (Novalogic, PC)
Mig-29 Fulcrum (Novalogic, PC)

Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies (Namco, PS2)
Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (Namco, PS2)
Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War (Bandai Namco, PS2)

Blazing Angels: Secret Missions of WWII (Ubisoft, PS3)
Blazing Angels 2: Squadrons of WWII (Ubisoft, PS3)

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X (Ubisoft, PS3)

Another that is slightly flight game-ish that I have is:

Warhawk (Sony, PS3)

----------------------

The strong point with the console based flight games is their story line, NOT their realism. The PC games are more realistic, but still lack complete realism.

Thus far, no one has actually come out with a very realistic flight simulator, in regards to military aircraft....then again, no one has come out with an very realistic military game of any sort.

its pritty hard to make a realistic flying game for the PC (or any other system i might add) because your "vision" is limited to a 2D spot. and the "cockpit" is your keyboard/mouse/controller.

I agree. when trying to make a flight sim, you're not sure if you got all the dynamics and characteristics right.
