Everything should be in place now, though. The new contest should be up for this week, and the contests should be a lot easier to maintain now. If you notice any problems anywhere on the site please let me know ASAP. Volunteers should still be able to moderate the forum and make modifications to the website directly.

You're not kidding ... that thing has been up for more than half a year. I'll automate the process more tomorrow afternoon to make it easier to maintain and update it then.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I wonder if we can add a program so that if you see a page without pics you can add some.

That was actually one of the goals behind GAC MyPics, but I'm still trying to figure out how to do that efficiently and safely. Essentially people would upload aircraft pictures to their MyPics account and tag aircraft in the images, and the site would automatically look for tags for each plane and display them to visitors. I'm just worried about garbage and inappropriate pictures being uploaded and tagged incorrectly.

I've been looking into this for a while now, but unfortunately don't have an easy answer. The problem is that aircraft pages don't actually exist, but are generated dynamically by the server. People would need admin privileges to add the pieces that are used to generate pages on the site the way it is now, but I'm trying to come up with a good way to get around this.

On a side-note, has anyone had a chance to play around with GAC Tests yet?
