Message Number 13Date Posted: 24 June 2005, 6:21:13 PM What trigun5 says is true, the U.S has covered almost every country around the globe, i have visited a small third world country called Honduras located in Central America, and i realized that the U.S has military bases there in a region called Palmerola, this base is located in almost the center of the whole country, interesting isn´t it?. I mean if this little country tries to make a bad move, in nanoseconds the U.S will take care of that. Even the smallest country poor in culture and technology like this one i´m talking about, is already covered by the U.S.. Besides the U.S is interested in this tiny country because the cheap workmanship that really wants to work at the U.S, matter that is beneficial to the U.S in economical therms.

Message Number 15Date Posted: 10 October 2005, 12:53:26 AM nukes are like a last ditch for countries like n korea although they could be launched without opposing military knowing because the NODONG 3 ICBM system is rail borne and can operate from almost anywhere in the country

Message Number 16Date Posted: 08 November 2005, 10:47:58 PM i think ww3 has already started though we may not see it as such yet. The first battle ground is Iraq. Maybe Syria or Iran is next.
If it drags on too long i think nukes will eventually be used.
i reckon it will be USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore against the rest of the world.
i think EU will join with x Soviet states, Russia, China, India and Middle East against us. Israel may join them too, if they appear to be winning. That should be historic, as they would be on the same side as the arabs.

Message Number 19Date Posted: 28 May 2007, 9:12:19 PM Ok, lets do some real thinking, shall we?
If N. Korea or any other country were to launch one nuke, it would be detected by NORAD shortly after launch and targeted by Patriots at that same the commander of NORAD would call the president, notify him of a ballistic missile launch (the president would be on board Air Force 1 at this time), there would be no way to determine if it was actually nuclear or not, but because of it being an ICBM, it is probable the president would authorize the launch of Minute Man III missiles, missiles which N. Korea has NO DEFENSE AGAINST, effectiely wiping N. Korea off the planet.
We go back to the days of the Cold War ladies and gentleman, N. Korea won't launch because they know we have more nukes than they can ever dream of and that even 2 of our missiles could destroy more than half of their country not to mention all of the fallout and radiation (the missiles would mostly likely be air burst to create maximum damage) following the attacks. This is basically MAD without the M because only N. Korea would be destroyed.
As for who would be on whose side, are we forgeting NATO? You know the whole North Atlantic Treaty Organization thing, that we espablished to make sure that if one country was attacked, it would be like every country part of NATO was attacked. And along with that being that the US is the only remaining superpower in the world, it would make a lot of sense for most nations to want to be allied with the US, would it not?
And I sure your all aware of that secret base in the New Mexico destert, Area 51, yes, I am sure there are weapons and equipment, beyond our wildest dreams there and at other facilities that we can not rule out of play for a large scale nuclear war.
As much as you all would like to believe WWIII is near by, it is probably very very far in the future if it will happen at all, but no matter when it happens rest easy knowing the U.S. is the stongest country in the world and will not be defeated as easily as some would like to believe.

Message Number 20Last Updated: 23 July 2008, 2:59:49 PM Date Posted: 16 July 2008, 11:44:54 AM any1 of yall ever read Crush Depth by Joe Brown? The setup of that story may be alittle far fetched but it does show how you could overestimate your strenth. yall know that china and russia and other countries can shoot down satilites right? now lets assume they shot all of them down. now lets say a cruise missle hits the bay bridge between newport news and the eastern shore in VA. that would ruin alot of the local economy. lets say a lot of our navy was destroyed in a nuclear blast at sea or torpedoed with nuclear armed torpedos like in the book. we would be on our knees. technology is one thing. but with new high tech technology comes a price. and all that technology has a weak spot. the internet for example. we hear all the time of people hacking it. lets say someone hacks the transportation department network. all mass transit would come to a standstill. And what about Iraq and Afganistan? we are facing an enemy that has 40 year old weapons, simple tactics and homemade road side bombs. we should've beaten them by now but we havn't. so technology may be great but it doesn't always give you the upper hand. If you are going thru hell, keep going. -Winston Churchill
