Who can help me to find the registration of the F4U-1 Corsair who was crashed in de Pacific on January 20,1944.
The pilot on that airplane was Maj.M.R.McCown he was stationned by VMF-321 US Marine Corps.

sorry dude, I can't help you with that. If you don't mind me asking: what is it for? a research project? And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Rebaul a key Japanese airfield that gave the Allies a hard time in the pacific during world war two? (just making sure I have my facts strait)

According to a reference book I have, Maj.McCown was flying f4u-1 crosair 17448 when he got shot down.
