now I don't believe this, and it sorta just popped into my head:
so I was sitting here, looking around the forums and think "hmm... since stealth was created in the Cold War to fight Russia, and now we are just fighting bands of militents now, not any countries, with little if any radar abilities, has stealth become almost... (dare i say it.) useless?"

just a thought. thought id throw it out there. personally, i don't believe it. It is still a very valueble thing to have. it just crossed my mind.

Good point as stealth was designed to take on U.S.S.R but after its collapse we've been fighting small countrys with small capabilitys (bar some) At this time stealth has kinda taken a backseat as supermanouverability is the forehead at the moment

That makes no sense guys.

When we first went into Iraq, as well as Afghanistan we used stealth aircraft with devistating results and no losess to us.

With the current opposition it may not be needed all the time, however we must be prepared for China, Russia, Iran, or any other country that we may need to go to war with, it is most definetly a nessecary technology.
