using ur profile picure as sort of an "avitar" on the forums. what do u think? yeah we definitely need profile pictures on here ... i'm thinking about having it so that your profile picture (and forum avatar) are based on your uploaded photos (on the new upload system). right now your first 'favorite picture' link is used as the profile picture, but i want thumbnails to be available (and I want the pic to be hosted on this website). that way I don't have to worry about a bunch of broken pictures if other sites go down.

GAC MyPics... there are probably some bugs to work out so poke around and give me some feedback. http://mypics.globalaircraft.org Right now you can only tag phrases ... you can't tag GAC members yet. Also, shared folders are folders that you own and that all GAC members can upload to (for instance, create a vintage aircraft folder and everyone can upload pictures to it). F6hellcat wrote:

I took a look at it and it seems to be a promising feature! id like to suggest easier access from the website though. maybe say on the front page like say under the "Inside GAC" tab and then in the "New Technologys" subcatigory.

I like the changes!
I have no problem with url address now, gacorg.com doesn't seem quite as official. I think the full globalaircraft.org says what the site is right away, but that's just my two cents.
I'll be around here often, so if you need any help from me let me know.

The only thing I noticed that you didn't have, was that the tag thing is kinda weird, it would be easier if you could just click on a point and that would be where the tag goes, but it's not really an issue of any great magnitude.
Oh, by the way, can you update the weekly contest?

Ah, "facebook-style" tagging? The only thing I don't like about that is you can't really choose your own size and shape of the tag. If there are a few small things in the picture you wind up with a bunch of huge, overlapping tags that lose their meaning.
