However it is kinda obsolite because of the F/A-18. However it is a very capable aircraft. I live an hour away from Washington. you just visiting?

Message Number 4Date Posted: 30 August 2008, 8:18:08 PM The F-14 was a very very good aircraft, it had the ability to attack targets a hundred miles away, which is nice, reach out to your target right.
Also, was a very sophisticated piece of equipment, required two guys to operate all of the systems.
It has since been retired 2-3 years ago this September.
