I just read somewhere that this pilot landed an extremely badly shot up A-10. I guess the simulation works all right, but the fact that the jet survived ok is amazing. I guess I would say the A-10.

i have more trust when its large, subsonic and has more than 2 jet engines eg A340 or B747.

i reckon the blackbird or foxhound option would be best, hardly ever getting shot down and even with threats u can out paace them

I would also have to go with the A-10. not only because it is tough as nails but also because it seems to be fairly user friendly, easy to fly, and I guess that comes in handy if your limping home on one engine and half a tail fin blown off. Copyright © The Global Aircraft Organization

i'd have the Su-37 'Termanator', the F/A-22, or the MiG 1.42. any one of those three.

yeh i'd have to agree on the warthog. it's old but damn it kicks &*#! at the altitudes it operates at, the only threats are really ground fire and fighters. Plus add that 30 mike mike and it's the fourth of july all aver again!

Anybody hear of that incident where that F-15 landed with an entire wing blown off?

Yeah it was actually an israeli jet that did it. That is pretty amazing. I work on 15's and sometimes I even have doubts about how they fly. But most of the time it comes down to who the operator is.
